Publication Frequency

Jurnal Pendidikan Karakter (JPKA) publishes two issues a year, in April and October. The journal has kept this schedule since its first issue in October 2011.

Number 1 April Manuscripts received up to October of the preceding year are normally considered for this issue.
Number 2 October Manuscripts received up to April of the same year are normally considered for this issue.

Because peer review takes up to six months, the issue in which an accepted article appears depends on when the review is completed rather than on when the manuscript was submitted. An article accepted too late for one issue is carried to the next.

▣ Submission and Volume

  • Submissions are open throughout the year; there is no submission deadline tied to an issue.
  • One volume covers one calendar year and contains two numbers.
  • The journal does not publish articles ahead of an issue; each article appears with its issue.
  • Special or thematic issues, where they are held, are announced on the Announcements page.
