APLIKASI LOAD CELL UNTUK SISTEM MONITORING VOLUME CAIRAN INFUS

Infus adalah terapi penting bagi pasien yang membutuhan tambahan cairan tubuh. Keterlambatan penggantian cairan infus yang telah habis dapat sangat berresiko bagi pasien karena darah dari pembuluh vena akan masuk kembali ke dalam selang infus. Ini dapat terjadi karena perbedaaan tekanan cairan antara pembuluh vena dan kantong infus. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan alat untuk memonitor volume cairan infus dan menghentikan aliran cairan infus sebelum habis. Alat yang dirancang terdiri atas load cell, modul ADC HX711, mikrokontroler Arduino Uno, dan solenoid pinch valve. Hasil pengujian alat ini menunjukan bahwa alat dapat menampilkan jumlah cairan yang masuk ke pasien dengan monitor menggunakan gelas ukur sebagai penentu jumlah cairan. Alat akan mengaktifkan pinch valve pada saat cairan infus sudah hampir habis. Simpulan dari sistem yang dirancang adalah alat mampu memonitor perubahan volume cairan infus dengan mengonversi output dari load cell ke dalam bentuk volume mL dan alat dapat menghentikan aliran cairan infus saat volume cairan infus minimal telah ditentukan sebesar 10mL.
LOAD CELL APPLICATION FOR INFUSION VOLUME MONITORING SYSTEM
Infusion is an essential therapy for patients who need additional body fluids. Replacement of IV fluids is vital for the patients because blood from the veins could re-enter the IV line be due to fluid pressure difference between the vein and the infusion bag. This study developed a system to monitor the volume of infusion fluids and stop the flow of intravenous fluids before they run out. The device consists of a load cell, ADC HX711 module, Arduino Uno microcontroller, and a solenoid pinch valve. The result shows that the system can displai the fluid entering the patient and activate the pinch valve when the infusion fluid is almost out. The conclusion shows that the device can monitor changes in the volume of infusion fluid by converting the output of the load cell into volume mL, and the device can stop the flow of infusion fluid when the minimum volume of infusion fluid has been determined 10mL.
