Generative AI Policies

Jurnal Pendidikan Karakter permits the limited and responsible use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI), such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar tools, solely for language editing, grammar checking, stylistic refinement, and improving readability, provided that such use does not replace the authors’ intellectual contribution, critical analysis, and ethical responsibility. The use of AI to generate or fabricate research data, findings, citations, references, analyses, arguments, or scientific content that cannot be justified by the authors is strictly prohibited. Authors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, validity, and ethical integrity of their manuscripts, and AI tools cannot be listed as authors. Any substantive use of AI must be transparently disclosed in the manuscript, while reviewers and editors are prohibited from uploading unpublished manuscripts or confidential review materials to public AI platforms. Violations of this policy may be treated as breaches of publication ethics and may result in revision requests, manuscript rejection, retraction, or restrictions on future submissions.
