Blind review

Manuscripts are reviewed double-blind. Follow the “Ensuring a Blind Review” instructions so that the manuscript does not identify the authors. See Peer Review Process.

Generative AI

  • Limited use is allowed for language editing, grammar, clarity, and technical assistance, with full human oversight. Authors remain responsible for accuracy, originality, and integrity.
  • Substantive use must be disclosed in the manuscript, with the name of the tool and its purpose. Routine spelling and grammar checks need no disclosure.
  • AI tools cannot be listed as authors.
  • AI-generated images or content are not permitted as research evidence, unless they are part of a transparently described methodology.

After peer review, the decision is sent through the website: accepted without revision, accepted with minor revision, accepted with major revision, or rejected. See Editorial Procedures.
