Author Fee
Beginning with Volume 7, Number 1, 2026, Epistema Journal (indexed in SINTA 4) will implement an Author Fee (Article Processing Charge / APC) as part of our commitment to ensuring sustainable publication management and improving the quality of our editorial and publication services.
As part of Jurnal Epistema’s commitment to maintaining the sustainability of publication and the quality of scientific publishing services, every accepted article will be subject to a publication fee according to the terms below.
Publication Fee
This journal charges the following author fees.

Additional Pages
Articles exceeding 12 (twelve) pages will incur an additional charge of:
- IDR 50,000 per additional page.
Fast Track Service
Authors may request a Fast Track Service to accelerate the review and publication process. The Fast Track request can be made after the article is declared eligible for review (review stage) by the editor.
- Fast Track Fee: IDR 750,000 per article.
- Fast Track articles will receive priority in the review process, editorial decision, and publication scheduling.
- Requests can be submitted through the “Comments for the Editor” field during manuscript submission, or via Jurnal Epistema’s official email after the article is declared eligible for review.
Waiver or Partial Waiver Policy
The editorial board may grant a full or partial waiver of the publication fee for authors who meet one of the following criteria:
- The article is co-authored by authors from at least three different countries.
- The author is from a low-income country.
- The author is invited by the editor to contribute to a specific issue.
- The author faces funding limitations, excessive manuscript length, or other reasonable circumstances accepted by the editor.
- Requests for a waiver must be submitted in the “Comments for the Editor” field at the time of manuscript submission.
- Requests submitted after this stage are likely to be declined.
- The waiver decision does not affect the review process or the editorial outcome of the article.
Payment Procedure
- Payment must be made after the article has been accepted by the editorial team and before publication.
- Proof of payment must be sent to Jurnal Epistema’s official email.
- Articles will only proceed to the publication stage after the payment has been verified by the journal’s finance team.
- Payments are non-refundable if the author cancels publication after payment is made.
- Payments should be made via transfer to the official Jurnal Epistema bank account.
