Students in middle school must be digitally literate to navigate an ever-more complex technological environment. The study aims to evaluate the benefit of technology concerning middle school students' usage of digital media. By incorporating digital literacy into the academic program, high school students can build the competencies needed to succeed in a digitally complex environment.  In the modern digital landscape, which explores a technologically advanced world, the importance of digital literacy in raising high school students' awareness of technological issues and advancements is becoming more widely recognized. The methodology utilized in this study led to the classification of this research as a quantitative research type. The study involved 902 middle school students from Indonesia. The study's hypotheses are accepted, including the moderation hypothesis, which has six moderating associations in this analysis. Whereas digital literacy is the variable with the highest IPMA score, it is an important indicator for measuring awareness of technological issues and developments. Encouraging digital literacy is essential to giving pupils the tools they need to thrive in the digital age, especially as schools increasingly integrate technology into their curricula. This promotion supports academic success and improves students' overall well-being by encouraging responsible internet use.
