About the Journal
Diklus: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah is a peer-reviewed open-access journal published by the Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and edited in the Department of Nonformal Education. It publishes empirical and literature-based research that contributes new knowledge, theories, or methods in non-formal and informal education.

All articles are free to read, download, and share immediately on publication, with no subscription, registration, or embargo. See the Open Access Policy.
Copyright and licence
From 2027, authors keep the copyright of their articles and grant the journal a non-exclusive right of first publication. These articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International licence (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). Articles published up to 2026 carry the licence stated on the article. See the Copyright Notice and Licensing Terms.
Fees and sponsorship
There is no submission or processing fee. An Article Publication Charge of IDR 750,000 is payable only after acceptance, and authors who cannot pay may ask for a waiver. The journal is financed by its publisher and by the Article Publication Charge, carries no advertising, and has no commercial sponsor. Fees and funding have no part in editorial decisions. Publication ethics
The journal follows the COPE Core Practices. See Publication Ethics, the Plagiarism Policy, and the Peer Review Process.
Archiving
The journal takes part in the LOCKSS archival system, supported by Open Journal Systems, which lets participating libraries keep permanent copies for preservation and restoration. Articles are also kept on the journal server of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, and each has a DOI. The journal does not currently take part in CLOCKSS.
