Kemampuan Mengkonstruksi Peta Konsep dan Pengaruhnya Terhadap Penguasaan Konsep Bioteknologi

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengukur efektivitas penggunaan peta konsep pada konsep-konsep yang mendasari bioteknologi terhadap penguasaan konsep. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi peserta mata Kapita Selekta Biologi SMA 1 dan 2 yang membahas 5 materi/konsep yang melandasi bioteknologi. Efektivitas penggunaan peta konsep diukur berdasarkan peningkatan nilai peta konsep dari satu materi ke materi berikutnya, serta berdasarkan hasil tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, penguasaan konsep-konsep dasar bioteknologi meningkat seiring dengan nilai peta konsep.
