1982 Renamed Jurnal Kependidikan; priority given to research-based articles.
1996 Non-educational research moved to separate journals; JK publishes education research only.
2001 First accredited by DIKTI (No. 118/DIKTI/Kep/2001).
2015 Re-accredited (No. 12/M/Kp/II/2015); English-language articles introduced.
2019 Re-accredited (No. 35/E/KPT/2019).
