Berpikir Reflektif Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama dalam Menyelesaikan Masalah Bangun Ruang Ditinjau dari Gaya Kognitif

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan berpikir reflektif siswa bergaya kognitif verbalizer dan visualizer dalam menyelesaikan masalah bangun ruang dengan subjek dua siswa kelas IX SMP. Data diperoleh melalui tugas dan wawancara berbasis tugas, lalu dianalisis melalui kondensasi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berpikir reflektif siswa dengan gaya kognitif verbalizer dalam menyelesaikan masalah bangun ruang ditunjukkan melalui pemahaman masalah berdasarkan kata kunci, klarifikasi istilah yang membingungkan, pengorganisasian informasi secara tekstual, pengembangan solusi dengan penalaran verbal, serta pengujian solusi melalui perbandingan hasil secara deskriptif. Sementara itu, berpikir reflektif siswa dengan gaya kognitif visualizer membangun ide awal melalui visualisasi dan gambar, mengatasi kebingungan dengan bantuan representasi visual, mengorganisasi informasi melalui gambar, mengembangkan solusi berdasarkan gambaran ruang, serta menguji solusi melalui perbandingan visual terhadap efisiensi ruang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pentingnya penggunaan representasi verbal dan visual dalam pembelajaran bangun ruang untuk mengembangkan berpikir reflektif siswa.
