Water rescue di desa wisata Siblarak untuk meningkatkan keselamatan pengunjung berbasis kolaborasi dan inovasi

Wisata Siblarak merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata air populer di Klaten, Jawa Tengah, yang dibangun oleh Pemerintah Desa Sidowayah pada tahun 2017. Namun, potensi wisata dan sumber daya alam desa belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Oleh karena itu, dilaksanakan Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) “Mbangun Desa” untuk meningkatkan potensi lokal berbasis kolaborasi dan inovasi. Kegiatan difokuskan pada pengembangan sumber daya manusia melalui pelatihan water rescue guna mendukung keselamatan pengunjung dan meningkatkan produktivitas ekonomi desa wisata. Peserta kegiatan terdiri atas 25 warga yang bertugas di Umbul Siblarak, Umbul Kemanten, dan Janti Park, serta melibatkan pengurus BUMDES dan POKDARWIS Desa Sidowayah. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan teoritis dan praktis melalui ceramah, diskusi, simulasi, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Materi pelatihan meliputi teknik dasar water rescue, penggunaan alat keselamatan, penyelamatan korban, hingga praktik CPR. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai konsep water rescue. Sebelum pelatihan, 72% peserta belum memahami konsep tersebut, sedangkan setelah pelatihan seluruh peserta telah memahaminya.
