Abstract

Social safeness and pleasure merupakan aspek penting dalam kesejahteraan psikologis karena berkaitan dengan rasa aman, kehangatan, dan kenyamanan ketika individu berelasi dengan orang lain. Meskipun konstruk ini telah banyak diteliti di berbagai negara, tetapi Indonesia belum memiliki instrumen baku untuk mengukur social safeness and pleasure secara valid dan reliabel. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengadaptasi Social Safeness and Pleasure Scale (SSPS) ke dalam bahasa Indonesia dan menguji kualitas psikometrisnya agar dapat digunakan pada konteks budaya Indonesia. Proses adaptasi dilakukan mengikuti delapan tahapan, meliputi forward translation, synthesis, back translation, harmonization, pre-testing, field testing, dan psychometric validation. Sebanyak 143 partisipan dengan usia 17 hingga 23 tahun terlibat dalam penelitian (M_usia = 19.9; SD_usia = 1.11). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh item SSPS memiliki validitas isi yang sangat baik, struktur faktor yang konsisten dengan model unidimensional, serta reliabilitas tinggi. Korelasi dengan instrumen lain mendukung validitas konvergen dan diskriminan. Dengan demikian, SSPS versi Indonesia dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai alat ukur social safeness and pleasure pada populasi mahasiswa. Adaptasi instrumen ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi penelitian dan praktik psikologi di Indonesia, khususnya dalam pemahaman pengalaman aman, hangat, dan nyaman dalam hubungan sosial.
